iLoop Mobile Case Study:
Diet Coke Viral Mobile Campaign
Interactive agency imc2 partnered with Diet Coke to utilize iLoop Mobile's technology to expand the reach of its successful Diet Coke Plus podcasts campaign, by adding a mobile phone text-a-friend component. On the campaign site, users can easily opt in to send a friend a text message alerting the friend to five free music downcasts, presented by Diet Coke Plus. On the site the user can quickly enter a friend's mobile phone number, see the standard text message their friend will receive, enter an encrypted security key, check a permission box, and send the message. The text-a-friend component was important for peer-to-peer endorsement among the primary target audience.
