Content Management

The mFinity™  content management system (CMS) is an application that stores, manages and distributes mobile binary content including images, music, video, ringtones, wallpapers, themes, games, mobile applications and other digital content. The CMS indexes and controls the properties of each piece of mobile content including price point, currency, territory, formatting for phones, handset ID/compatibility and more. It also manages the categorization and grouping of content for efficient content management and database search. All mFinity™ applications enabled for content delivery use the CMS, and APIs are available so the CMS can be accessed by third party applications.

Content is efficiently categorized and managed enabling seamless delivery to different phone models worldwide. Along with the indexing capabilities mentioned above, the CMS also offers meta tags for music standard to the recording industry such as GUID, MCPS, album ID and more. Full digital rights management (DRM) is also supported. The CMS can also index and manage physical merchandise like CDs, DVDs, hats, T-shirts etc. just like digital content for processing orders from Web and WAP site storefronts. Product categories can be created to organize content inventory that can be displayed in Web storefronts for easy consumer discovery and search. When content is purchased, the CMS automatically recognizes the handset first in order to deliver content optimized for that particular handset model.
